W20/W22 Brake Recall Information


Dear Customer,
You should have recently been notified by Workhorse Custom Chassis that there is a forthcoming recall on your W20 or W22's Bosch brake calipers. You should be aware, this recall involves some 48,000 motorhome chassis' and it won't be until later in this year (October or even as late as December) when the upgraded calipers become available.
We want to make this recall experience as streamlined and efficient as possible so we are asking that you call, e-mail or send us a letter stating that you would like to be put on our waiting list so that you can be taken care of as soon as parts become available. Please include your full name, contact phone number, and the Workhorse Custom Chassis VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). We are asking that you participate in our Brake Recall Waiting List for two reasons. First, because the parts availability will initially be very limited, if we are able to prove to Workhorse Custom Chassis that we have customers scheduled, we will be able to secure a sufficient number of calipers for our inventory. Second, by being put on our waiting list you will have a much less difficult time getting scheduled in to have the recall performed. Once you are on the list, we will be contacting individuals off the list on a first come, first served basis, so the sooner you get us your information the sooner you will be scheduled in to have the recall performed.
If between now and the time the recall is set in motion you have brake issues, please do not hesitate to contact our service personnel for assistance. Workhorse will be covering damaged parts at no cost to you if they are related to the brake caliper issues.
