Stopping
and Towing Made Easier |
| |
| The
system works with an air cylinder that is mounted between the master cylinder
and vacuum booster on the towed vehicle. An air pressure line is connected to
the motor coaches air brake system and extended to the air cylinder on the towed
vehicle, with a quick disconnect. When the brakes on the coach are applied, the
brakes on the towed vehicle are applied AT THE SAME TIME, resulting in a smoother,
safer stop. This not only gives an added margin of safety by REDUCING STOPPING
BY 1/3rd, but also eliminates the towed vehicles tendency to "run under"
the coach. |

| The
UltraStop Break Away System is a small air tank that is installed in the air line
that goes to the air cylinder. If the towed vehicle were to break loose it would
trigger an electric solenoid that opens the air tank allowing compressed air into
the air cylinder, stopping the vehicle. |
| |
| There
are no adjustments, boxes or pushrods to deal with. No need to worry that your
towed vehicle brakes might come on without you knowing. The system virtually cannot
work without brake pedal pressure from your coach. The UltraStop Tow Brake System
has a proven track record as one of the first towed vehicle braking systems ever
made! | |
