It
is interesting to us that one of the biggest challenges
to owners and drivers of Motor Coaches is how their coach
handles. You, like many of the people who come to us may
be frustrated with the handling ability of your vehicle.
Our goal is to help you gain control of your vehicle in
a much SAFER and more ENJOYABLE way.
|
| On
the Coaches we see every day, we find that often the chassis
has not been properly modified in consideration of effects
to steering and suspension demands due to the increase in
GVW, the structure of the body aerodynamics or the variety
of road conditions during the construction phase of the vehicle.
Many of our customers find that they have difficulty controlling
their coach and their travel experience is stressful physically
and emotionally. Our professional technicians have the knowledge,
experience and the right parts and equipment to correct all
handling problems. |

UltraTrac
Front
Trac Bar
This
product will help correct "rut tracking". This
happens when the coach follows the grooves worn in the road
or where ridges are created when an asphalt surface meets
a concrete road surface. The coach will want to continue
in the direction of the ridge or groove and it is difficult
to correct or change the path of the coach.
Fits:
Workhorse W-Series, Ford F53, Chevrolet Kodiak

UltraTrac
Rear Trac Bar
Improves
steering by locking the rear axle to the frame. "Tail-Wagging
the Dog". Sometimes more pronounced with excessive
overhang or when towing a car. "Tail Wagging the Dog"
occurs when the rear end of the coach tends to sway or slip
to one side or the other. Making sudden lane changes or
windy conditions oftenproduces this problem.
Fits:
Workhorse W-Series, Chevrolet/Workhorse P-Series, Ford F53,
Ford E-Series, Chevrolet Kodiak

Comfort
Ride Control
Valves
Designed
for air suspension diesel pusher motorhomes, this new
sway control valve has an internal check valve that allows
normal compression of the air bag but a slower controlled
return that reduces sway and porpoising. The design of
our Comfort Ride Control Valves allows for the air suspension
to retain its smooth ride while dramatically improving
the handling and comfort for the driver.
Fits:
All air suspension equipped coaches. Comes in 1/4",
3/8" and 1/2" air line sizes

SuperSteer
Bellcrank
Control
"rutting" and road wandering. Reduces the amount
of free play in the steering wheel. A lot of times the O.E.M.
part is the cause of over-steering the coach, the UltraTrac
Bellcrank will produce a slower steering response giving
you much more control.
Fits:
Chevrolet and Workhorse P-Series Chassis and Freightliner
XC Chassis.

Replacement Trailing Arms
The
UTR4 is a replacement trailing arm kit for OEM products
which are now failing at an alarming rate. If you are
the owner of a Monaco, Safari, Beaver or Holiday Rambler
motorhome using the RR4R or R4R chassis, we STRONGLY suggest
that you contact us as soon as possible to schedule an
inspection of your trailing arms. The
OEM trailing arms are no longer covered by any factory
warranty, although some extended service plans do cover
their replacement.

Here for More Information on Effected Coaches
The
Trailing Arm kit includes all new axle mounting hardware
and has a powder-coat finish for ultimate corrosion resistance.
These kits are built to address the original OEM parts
installed at the factory and also supplied as replacement
parts for field repairs. Our parts are many times stronger
than the no-longer-available OEM parts, and our simple
bolt-in design makes field replacement simple for any
repair facility. Even if you have already had parts replaced
due to failure, the parts used are the same design as
the original and may fail. When the stock part fails,
damage to shocks, air bags, driveshaft etc. are common
and can be quite expensive to repair. Avoid the tow bill,
added cost and weeks of delay in your travel plans, not
to mention the risk associated with loss of control of
your vehicle while underway. Our trailing arms are shot-peened
prior to powder coat and are covered by a limited life-time
warranty.

Ride Enhancement Kit
The
complex suspension systems of modern motorhomes are a
design trade-off between a variety of qualities and factors
including cost. Many factory motorhomes may include lower
quality components in order to keep purchase cost down
- shock absorbers are a prime example. Manufacturers may
also leave out components on their lower and mid-line
coaches which they include in their high-line models -
air-spring system ping tanks are an example of this.

If
you are experiencing a harsher bumpier ride than you want,
or perhaps your coach seems to wander and track poorly
through the curves? If this sounds more like your coach
than you want, consider one of our custom designed ride
enhancement kits. With exactly the right components for
your coach, including new air springs, specially valved
shock absorbers and ping-tanks our ride enhancement kits
will make you think you have a new coach - in fact your
rig will handle better than many new coaches.
If
you consider your rig to be your home (or home-away-from-home)
and you want to maintain and even improve it rather than
replace it - think about the benefits of our ride enhancement
kits - for both comfort and safety
Fits:Monaco
Knight (02-04), Monaco Cayman (02-09), HR Ambassador (02-04),
HR Neptune (02-09), Safari Cheetah (02-06), Safari Zanzibar/Sahara
(02-05), Safari Simba RD (All Years), Beaver Baron (All
Years)

Bars
Available
for the front and rear of most motorhome chassis, these
anti-sway bars are made from high quality steel and are
much heavier duty than factory anti-sway bars. They control
the rocking and rolling of the coach over bumps and unlevel
road conditions. If your coach leans, sways or rocks in
a side to side motion this product will make your driving
experience much more comfortable!
