When
sent an update for read/write utility it will come as a "zip" file...double
click on it, when the WinZip screen comes up highlight the files(s) and click
"extract to" the default address: C:\Program Files\Ultra\PCM (unless
it's been saved to a different folder) If you don't have a WinZip program you
can down-load an "evaluation version" free at: |

this file to your desktop and double-click on the set-up icon, it willautomatically
set up your directory and place an UltraPower icon on your desktop. |

On
'03 and newer Workhorse you need to pull fuse #21 (usually under the dash.sometimes
under a panel on top of the dash) this fuse disables the instrument cluster. |

On
other vehicles with digital clusters you must disable IPC/DIC, INFO, SEO Ign. |
|
You
can tune '96-'09 non CAN BUS gm vehicles: 4.3L, 4.8L, 5.0L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L,
6.6L, 7.4L, 8.1L |
|

To
check proper communication go to "Tools" and "Vehicle Info"
you should receive a screen that gives you the VIN and calibration ID's. |
Click
on "Read" and follow the prompts, name your read file and save to a folder
that you can create (you can set up a "Default Path"
so it will automatically go there)--it takes 10-15 minutes. |

Create
an email to tech@brazelsrv.com and attach the file. |
|
We
will send back a tuned file with the same file name you gave it, we will add a
date to the end of your file name. |
|
Go
to "Tools" and "Vehicle Info" to check communication. |
|
Click
on "Program" and follow the prompts--it should program in about 3-4
minutes. |
