High-Flow Performance Intake Upgrade for Ford E-Series 6.8L V10 Motorhome & Van Chassis
The factory Ford air intake system on many E-Series vans and motorhome chassis is restrictive by design. The inlet to the air box and the internal baffling limit airflow, reducing the engine’s ability to breathe efficiently — especially under load.
The K&N Cold Air Intake System replaces the restrictive factory components with a high-flow, performance-engineered system designed to increase airflow, improve throttle response, and unlock additional power.
Featuring a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube and K&N’s legendary washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter, this system allows your engine to draw in more air with less restriction. The included heat shield or enclosed air box helps isolate intake air from engine bay heat, promoting cooler, denser air for improved performance.
These gains are especially noticeable in motorhome and RV applications where improved airflow can enhance acceleration, hill-climbing performance, and overall drivability.
This intake system pairs exceptionally well with custom engine tuning, allowing the calibration to fully utilize the increased airflow for maximum performance improvement.
