Eliminate Steering Play on Freightliner XC & Magnum Chassis with the SuperSteer® SS100 Bell Crank
Drivers of Freightliner XC and Magnum motorhome chassis commonly experience steering play, road wander, and rut tracking — especially as mileage increases. In many cases, the root cause is the factory bell crank (idler), which supports the steering linkage.
The OEM design uses sleeve bushings that frequently bind, wear prematurely, and cannot be adjusted to remove side play. As wear develops, steering becomes loose, returnability suffers, and driver fatigue increases.
The SuperSteer® SS100 Bell Crank is engineered to correct these issues by replacing the weak factory bushing system with heavy-duty tapered roller bearings. These bearings are far superior at carrying load and maintaining tight tolerances under motorhome operating conditions.

Special Notes:
- This will only fit if you have a 3 bolt mounting bellcrank. If it has 4 bolts attaching it to the frame rail, then this part will not fit and we do not have an upgrade for that model.
- Will fit some Magnum Chassis with solid I-beam front suspension. To determine fitment on the Magnum chassis, measure your bolt pattern on your existing bell crank. The SS100 measures 4.14" center to center on the bottom and 3.625" center to center on each side
